A few days after the Canadian book launch in Victoria, Dr. Charlotte Schallié, Miriam Libicki and David Schaffer gathered again in Vancouver for a second book launch. The Jewish Community of Greater Vancouver hosted the launch on the evening of September 14 in the Sidney and Gertrude Zack Gallery.
Dr. Abby Wener Herlin hosted the discussion amongst the editor, artist and survivor while moderating questions from the audience. As with the book launch in Victoria, the outpouring of community support was overwhelming, and the venue was at capacity with only standing room at the back.
