“Survivor-centred Visual storytelling in Holocaust witnessing and Testimony” – University of Calgary – Dec. 5, 2023

Dr. Charlotte Schallié was invited by the University of Calgary’s Dr. Martin Wagner, to present a guest lecture on ‘But I Live’ to the students at the University of Calgary, as well as to members of the wider Calgary community.

The Language Research Centre supported her attendance, and Charlotte shared the behind-the-scenes look at ‘But I Live’, the intention for the book at this moment in history, and the the different perspectives with which survivors, artists, and historians approached the project.
